Rollin’ to T-Town

The tide wasn’t the only thing rolling last weekend! Our crew rolled into Alabama Friday night to start preparing for a Saturday full of tailgating time with staff. Reunions happened, chili was eaten, and spike ball tournaments were played! Staff came from far and wide, but it seems that the Silverado staff had the biggest showing. After eating some infamous Mugshots burgers on Sunday afternoon, we left Title Town and headed to Birmingham. Because Sunday is a day of rest, we decided to do so by enjoying some healthy competition with a game of Nertz in the hotel lobby. This […]

A&M Recruiting: Whoop, Gig ‘Em, & Hullabaloo!

When out on the dock there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bunk to see what was the matter. Away to the field I […]

Faith: Choosing to Believe

“[Wait] with Me for a while. I have much to tell you. You are walking along the path I have [chosen for you]. It is both a privileged and perilous way: experiencing My glorious Presence and heralding that reality to others. Sometimes you feel presumptuous to be carrying out such an assignment. Do no worry about what other people think of you. The work I am doing in you is hidden at first. But eventually blossoms will burst forth, and [abundant] fruit will be borne. Stay on the path of Life with Me. Trust Me [wholeheartedly], letting my spirit fill you with Joy and Peace.” I discovered this excerpt one fall morning in […]
