Bunga joined the Pine Cove Staff full time in January of 2006, having spent four summers at the Shores in various positions from Counselor to Program Director as well as a few summers with Kanakuk Kamps in both Missouri and Colorado. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Bunga also met his wife Brooke while working at Pine Cove. They have two daughters, Finley and Ava. Bunga came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and considers it a blessing to serve God and others through his ministry at Pine Cove.

I remember when I came to work at Pine Cove for the first time in 2002. My life was absolutely transformed by being on staff and I am thankful to still be able to serve here. I even met my wife, Brooke, while working at the Shores camp in 2004. Why Two-Week Camping?

Here at Pine Cove, we have done one-week camping for as long as I can remember. It has become our standard to have campers arrive on Sunday and leave on Saturday. One week is a good amount of time to have fun, connect with a counselor and cabin mates, and most importantly, learn more about the Bible and God’s love.
